About Skyview Magic Lodge

Built from 1500 rammed earth car tyres, the 34 metre openable building utilizes one of the largest arrays of hot water solar panels in the Southern Hemisphere.

Robina maintains her personal garden in the car tyres, which provides an unbelievably magical feel to the interior of the building.

The pool is 25 metres long, 6 metres wide, 1.2 metres deep (chest height). The water is passed through a copper/silver ionization process to maintain cleanliness – no chlorine, no salt, no ozone, no chemicals.

Swimming lengths in the morning when the temperatures are below 30.0° and returning in the afternoons or evenings for a warm soak are simply heavenly.   Operates approximately from early September to late April.

Please note that the pool is used by ourselves, friends, local families on the Crown Terrace, and guests of the lodge.  It is also used by a local instruction facility to teach young children one afternoon each week during summer

There is a large trampoline on the lawn just outside the building.
