About Skyview Magic Lodge
Skyview Magic Lodge is yours to enjoy on your own with no one else booked at the same time, allowing complete seclusion,
solitude, silence, and privacy. It is 300 metres away from our house. We can’t see or hear our neighbours. Our driveway is
almost a kilometre long. Traffic? None to see or hear.
The luxury self contained lodge can sleep up to 12 people in the 4 huge double bedrooms and single beds on the mezzanine.
The bedrooms all have funky, light, and beautiful en-suite bathrooms and there is another full bathroom on the ground floor
– all have underfloor heating. Functioning as a large holiday home, this secluded retreat excels as a ski holiday base or
summer choice for a multiple family get together, corporate retreat, or couple’s getaway.
The fully appointed self contained kitchen with underfloor heating has EVERYTHING, the lounge has a large woodburner, plenty
of dry firewood, and big comfy couches and chairs, there’s a slab wood table and benches in the dining area, and the Sky
TV/DVD/Stereo/CD player are in an alcove off the lounge. Free use of the washer and dryer, 2 car garage, wheel chair access
on the ground floor, and local phone (computer compatible) all help to make your stay simple and stress free, and we do
linen changes mid stay if staying more than 5 nights.
The Skyview Magic views are stunning 360° of mountains and lakes seen from the more than 3 km of undulating walking tracks
on the property. The pool is a delight, and kids (and adults) seem to spend a lot of time on the trampoline and climbing
wall. There’s lots of space inside and out.
We’re happy to chat and pass on any helpful local knowledge amassed over the last 20 years or leave you alone to your own
devices and personal programs. Jef has worked as a guide on the rivers, mountains and snows of NZ and Robina is a qualified
naturopath and health/fitness adviser. Both are keen for anything outdoors.
